Meditation During Quarantine-Introduction

Hey guys!

Wow, these last few months have brought so much change!!!!!!! In all of this uncertainty, I for one have definitely been feeling pretty stressed out. That is why I decided to turn to meditation!

Meditation revolves around finding acceptance in the mind and not trying to change or fix things. This is the complete opposite of what many people think, since our society makes perfection seem like it is always the goal, at least that’s how I used to think about it.

Through meditating, I have learned that in life, things are ever-changing and that it is okay to feel overwhelmed by change. However, I have also learned that I can become aware of change and grow to accept it.

This meditation blog is going to focus on what I learn each day and I will share the peace, calm, and acceptance that I am discovering!

For those of you who are wondering, I use a meditation app called Headspace! This app has helped me SOOOOOOO much and I use it everyday! This blog will focus on Headspace’s ideas about meditation as this is where I am learning this amazing skill!
